Just Some Doodles

The blog's been kind of dead for a while, so I thought I'd post some character doodles I made. It's just lineart right now with no color. I wanted to put color in, but I don't think I have enough time to do it justice. But I think the color scheme would be either earthy tones or something in the purple/red family.

I only have two for a lead female character. As a disclaimer, I didn't fit all the suggestions in from last time, though I fully intend to. My tablet was acting up as well, so it's not quite up to the line quality I like.
SHE HAS NO FAAAAAAAAAACE

This first one is kind of a more detailed, better-drawn version of the first doodle I made. I think it's okay. Not great, not bad. Just okay.

I think I have an obsession with big hair.

Though the clothes are simpler here, I like this one. I played around with a mask, and I'm enjoying it. I feel like I've seen it somewhere though, so if it reminds you of something please let me know so I can change it. I attempted to make a stave, but it definitely needs work. I don't generally design weapons, so the stave was a challenge. Right now it's really generic. I'm going to keep working on both concepts.

I have another version that's currently on paper and not on the computer. It's a lot LOT more elaborate and has more accessories. If I manage to get it on my computer I'll be sure to upload it as well.

So, once again. Comments. Critiques. Hell, we could talk about storyline too.

I'm New Here

Hey guys! First things first, I'm Morgan, a second-semester sophomore at WSU. Previously, I was a Business Finance major. And that was absolutely miserable, so I took a risk and switched schools and majors and now I am happily attending my first semester at the school of fine arts! I really want to pursue a career in 3-D animation and/or video game design. From childhood, I have always had a love for these art forms (my mom worked for Nintendo from when I was about 6 until I was 17, pretty sure that is where my video game obsession stemmed from), so I am super excited to join this group! I play around a bit on my own with studio art, and I have very recently started experimenting on Blender and UDK.

Below are some of my doodles and drawings I have done for fun.

Below are some different things I have made using Blender software, I followed tutorials while making these while learning the software.

This one is my personal favorite, and my first original creation in Blender not following a tutorial.

Anyways, that's me in a nutshell. Looking forward to meeting and working with you all!
